I've had Colorlite for a few month, and it makes it all more colourful. They also allow me to pass most Ishiharas while I fail most of those without the glasses. Red is far brighter, and since having the glasses I repeatedly remind myself that orange cars are rare, those are all red in reality. :-) Blue gets some more depth to it, making it beautiful.

During the exam with Colorlite I had to due Colorlite's own test a few times to get the right lenses. Once I did, I did the Ishihara Test, and out of 20 slides, I got 19 right. Since then I've tried numerous Ishihara tests and I've passed everyone of them with almost perfect scores. I say, its worth every penny.

So last week i cam across colorlite lens. I did my research, the next day I went to a distributor near me. We did the test and they worked. They ordered them and now a week later I have them. I am so happy. The distributors were very kind and they explained every step of getting the glass and taking the test to test the glasses. Colorlite was very prompt getting the lens to me. Exactly a week to be precise. I cannot be more happy. Anyone thinking about it should really try them.

PSA: Colorblind Glasses That Actually Work!

Basically, it all started on my 16th birthday. I got my driver's permit and started learning how to drive when it hit me: I legit couldn't make out the red lights. I have a very strong version of protanomaly (the kind where red looks like brown and black while green and cyan sometimes look like white or light gray), so you could imagine the pain when I try to make out a red traffic light against the black box holding it up. Yeah, it didn't end well. I also typically didn't pick up on people's brake lights when they lit up (thanks whoever's great idea it was to make those red). Overall, while I learned to adjust, I still tended to have a 2-second delay every time I needed to pick up on a red cue and didn't simply because I needed time to figure out what was going on. I guess this is why it's illegal for colorblind people to drive in Australia.
